Please note that due to the pandemic, our orders are taking up to 2-4 weeks to deliver. Unfortunately we are unable to expedite the process (trust us, we wish we could change this). When we embarked on this mission the pandemic did not exist and using a print on demand model, to create bespoke apparel, was our vision. If you still decide to shop with us, and we hope you do, we promise to bring as much value as possible. As a starter, we're offering free shipping worldwide.

  • How do I reach Living852 customer service?
    • If you have any questions or concerns related to a product or order, please reach out to us directly at (hello@living852shop.com) and we will respond within 24 to 48 hours.
  • What if I receive a defective product?
    • Embroidery on the rare occasion is a fickle beast. While our manufacturing partners strive for quality control on all items printed, they sometimes experience a printing defect. If your order came defective, please contact us via (hello@living852shop.com) and include both a detail photo of the defect as well as a description. Our manufacturing partners require both the photo and description to resolve any issues. Assuming the item is in fact defective, you will have the option of a refund or having a new item printed and shipped at no additional cost.
  •  Do you provide refunds?
    • Because our products are made-to-order, this unfortunately restricts our refund and exchange capabilities. As per the above, for defective items, we will work with our supplier to replace your item free of charge or refund your order. However, refunds or exchanges due to incorrect sizing, buyer’s remorse or anything not related to defects, cannot be accommodated. If you have any questions regarding our refund policy, and it is not a defective product, please contact us via (hello@living852shop.com). As much as possible we will try to find a solution to your needs.
  • How do I check on my order?
    • Use the tracking number provided to you at the time of purchase. If you cannot find your tracking number, email customer service at (hello@living852shop.com).
  • You said the order will take from 2-4 weeks, are you kidding me?
    • Unfortunately, and to our own dismay, yes, orders are taking between 2-4 weeks to arrive. As we’ve mentioned, this is a made-to-order business model which means when you order, it is only then that the product is created. This enables us to provide a more custom product line, reduce wastage and cover as much of the lifestyle in the 852 as we can think of. On top of it all, the pandemic has also protracted our fulfillment and shipping timelines. We will work to reduce this as much as possible in the future. Also, because you have read this far, skip the 10% off code on the landing page and use checkout code VIRTUE10 for 10% off any order. Patience is a virtue - one love.
  • Did you say everything in Living852 is embroidered?
    • Yes, that is correct. As we said, for now, our preferred method of storytelling and bringing goods to life is through embroidery. We do believe in the future we will expand beyond embroidery but for now that is our medium.

 

Production & Shipping

  • What does print-on-demand mean?
    • We print for you! The design is printed onto the materials once the order is placed, we hold no excess stock. In our case, almost all our items are embroidered. We’ve chosen this type of business model because even as a small shop, we can offer greater choice and customization by way of more product options because everything is made-to-order. This is also means that we’re able to reduce waste by only printing what our demand calls for. There are a few downsides though, those being that orders take longer due to the fulfillment process and we’re also unable to accommodate refunds and exchanges. On top of that, due to the global pandemic, we’re also experiencing shipping delays. But, if you choose to shop with us, we’re happy to work with you to get what best suits you!
  • What gives? Why does ordering through Living852 take so long when I am able to get products from other stores more quickly?
    • We’re a small time operation, and when we say small, we should replace “We” with “I”. At the moment we’re a one-man band. Everything you see from the products to the web design, is managed by one person. That said, I decided Living852 should offer as many products as possible, in as many variations, so that customers could have their choice when it came to the end product. To do this each item is made-to-order, meaning it doesn’t exist until you order it. Naturally this requires time. Beyond that, when I first decided to create this store, the global pandemic did not exist. Now, due to the pandemic and our fulfillment taking place at various hubs globally, we’re experiencing delivery delays. Please note our orders are taking up to 2-4 weeks for delivery.
  • Does Living852 Ship Internationally?
    • Yes, we are currently shipping worldwide. Please note fulfillment and shipping times vary by country. As above, please note that most orders from time of  completion to delivery are taking up to 2-4 weeks.
  • Do Items ship together?
    • As we use multiple manufacturers and printing partners, your products may or may not ship together.  We work hard to try and limit shipments, but are bound by the specifics of both our partners and the products included in a particular order. Either way, we work to streamline the shipping process when and where possible.
  • How soon after ordering will I be able to rock this new gear?
    • At checkout, you will notice estimated delivery timelines. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that the carriers will deliver by their estimated date of arrival as delivery timing has become more fluid due to the pandemic.
    • Printing and production typically take 5-7 business days, with shipping taking another 2-3 weeks on top of production time (this can mean up to four weeks).
  • Can I change the shipping address on an order?
    • If your order has not shipped, we are able to update the address on the order.  Reach out immediately to (hello@living852shop.com) to make an adjustment.
  • I completed my purchase but have not received a tracking number, what should I do?
    • Since we use a print-on-demand system to meet our sustainable fashion goals, each order takes time to print before the printing label is made.  You will receive a tracking number only when your products have completed the printing process and are ready to ship.
  • Tracking Status says delivered, but I haven’t received anything. What Should I do?
    • While rare, sometimes our customers get delivery notifications despite not receiving their package.  We find these are typically caused by the following reasons:
      • The courier scans a package for delivery ahead of the actual drop-off, and this is usually resolved within 24 hours
      • Our customer typed in an incorrect address.  Please confirm that the shipping address used at checkout is 100% accurate. If you discover you used an incorrect address, reach out to (hello@living852shop.com) and we can help to try and resolve the issue.
  • What happens to my package when it is returned to the sender?
    • Once we receive a returned package we will contact you right away to verify the shipping address. Please note that new shipping fees may apply and in the event we do not get a response from you after 30 days, the package is discarded.
    • If your tracking info shows that your order has been returned to the sender often it is due to an incorrect address or the delivery driver has attempted multiple times to deliver the package with no success and could not find a safe place to leave the package.
    • When your package has been returned to the sender, we can easily ship it back out to you but it is a good idea to double-check your shipping address before we send it back out.
    • We cannot send out a new package until the original package is returned. If you would like to immediately have a new package sent out please contact us as we do have options.
  • COVID-19 Impacting Fulfillment & Shipments
    • Delays in mail and package deliveries are common because of flight cancellations, staff reductions, government measures and other disruptions in workplaces and daily lives.
    • The production timeline has been extended to 5-7 business days, with shipping requiring up to three more weeks
